Halfway through the Spring 2024 semester, our professor took a trip to Uruguay to study sustainable livestock grazing. These two maps were created to visualize her flightpath and her travel path through Uruguay. This project was unique because it required me to find international data for the first time. The highways of Uruguay shown in the second map below are from a streets layer from OpenStreetMap and were filtered to only show the major highways in the country. Custom layers were built from scratch to display the different stopping points on the research trip.
