This poster is the final product of my Applied Spatial Statistics course that took place over the Fall 2024 semester. The project examines the statistical relationship between snow-water equivalent (SWE) measurements and wildfire area in Colorado counties that contain SNOTEL stations (from which SWE measurements are extracted). I used a variety of generalized linear models in RStudio to quantify this relationship. The poster was submitted for the Denver GIS Day Student Poster Competition and was awarded 3rd place out of 25 entries.
